Boys Will Be Boys

Last Sunday was one of those early HOT spring days. We had all the windows and the back sliding door open. Rick mentioned that he "wished he had a slip and slide". Scott jumped up and said he could take care of that. Earlier in the week I had purchased new plastic shower privacy curtains and Scott had "saved" the old ones "just in case". Rick and Scott grabbed the old plastic curtains and laid them out on the grass. This, of course, was not good enough as they weren't long enough for a good slide. Upon thinking a little more, Scott - the pack rat- remembered that he had saved the HUGE plastic covers from the new mattress set that we purchased last fall. Scott and Rick hastily spread out the plastic, turned on the sprinklers and hose, slipped into something more comfortable - and appropriate for water fun.. then took off sliding.
