MISSING!!

There is a thief among us! Tragically while I was at work today someone broke into my house and took two very special guests. I received a ransom note and pictures of my darlings - gagged and in torturous places. Who could do such a thing? I am broken hearted and lost beyond words to have my newest little members of my family missing. Rick denies involvement stating, and I quote, "I would not harm my little brother and sister". I believe, however, that he knows the truth. That he, along with Jenni, are hiding some dark secret from me. Please - anyone - return Raggedy Jeri and Scott to their loving home as soon as possible!

Boys Will Be Boys

Last Sunday was one of those early HOT spring days. We had all the windows and the back sliding door open. Rick mentioned that he "wished he had a slip and slide". Scott jumped up and said he could take care of that. Earlier in the week I had purchased new plastic shower privacy curtains and Scott had "saved" the old ones "just in case". Rick and Scott grabbed the old plastic curtains and laid them out on the grass. This, of course, was not good enough as they weren't long enough for a good slide. Upon thinking a little more, Scott - the pack rat- remembered that he had saved the HUGE plastic covers from the new mattress set that we purchased last fall. Scott and Rick hastily spread out the plastic, turned on the sprinklers and hose, slipped into something more comfortable - and appropriate for water fun.. then took off sliding. Above are the results.

The WALL

We... well I.. decided that I wanted a wall gone.. taken out..removed between the stairway and living room inside the house. So Scott, being the helpful husband he is, came home from work - grabbed the hammer, smashed the wall and, with Rick's help, removed it from our living room! I didn't get a picture of the Hole in the Wall but I do have a shot of Scott taking out the front tile as well. We have BIG plans for the living room now. A beautiful new banister, a fresh paint job and NEW carpet! Yes - we are going to get rid of the dirty looking off-white carpet that the original owners put down. Exciting!! Just wait til we get our plans together for the kitchen!!
