Whose Kids are These?

Everyone's posts seem to have pictures of their kids with a lot of bragging. We've shared a picture of Scott with his daughter and several pictures of our some of our grandchildren but no picture of my kids. So here it is! This is a fun little picture taken in remembrance of a photo shoot of Rick in younger years. Don't I have great looking kids??!! I'm so proud of each of them.. they do such fun and cute things~

But on a serious note... my kids are great. They are all close to each other and are a lot of fun to be around. I consider myself fortunate to have 3 of the 4 live so close to me. I love the energy and fun they add to my life. I just plain love their guts!!

Scott finished the banister last night. He's giving us his "go team" cheer. He only needed a little help from Rick, Amanda and I to juggle all the baulisters when we installed them. Doesn't it look great!!!! So much nicer than THE WALL.

Do They Look Alike or What?!!

We went to the wedding reception of Scott's niece, not too long ago. Most of Scott's family, siblings etc., were there along with his dad. I snapped this 4 generation shot of Scott, his dad, Jamie, Jayden and Taylon (who are cousins). Its not hard to see the family resemblance. Scott thinks he looks more like his mother's side of the family and is looking forward to the day when people mistake him for his grandpa.

That's one thing that I don't have - knowing what I'll look like as I get older. The older my brother gets the more he looks like my dad. My sister tends to resemble both sides of the family. I can pick out characteristics in my kids that resemble me and their dad and his family but the missing link is my biological pieces. I guess that's one mystery that will never be solved. I guess my kids and grandkids will always look like me!!
