FINALLY June 9th arrived!! Why was this day important?? Because it was the day I flew to Portland to meet my new grandson, Owen!! What a sweet baby boy~
Rusty and Rick picked me up at the airport while Collette stayed home to feed him. Oh my gosh - I could not have been more excited to see him.

Owen is waiting patiently with his giraffe blanket to go to his dad's office. Rusty needed to pack up his office for the move to Michigan. Collette, Owen and I went with him.

After the office experience we went back to Rusty/Collette's house and ordered some pizza.
Not on my diet but delicious after weeks of watching the carbs.

On Saturday- Collette, Rusty and Owen had their first
family photo shoot. Those pics are going to be awesome!
We then went to a birthday party for the 2 year old
daughter of friends. Nice people in Portland!
Then back home for a visit with Rick and a relaxing evening.

Owen loves Uncle Rick!On Sunday there was a Going Away/Birthday Party for Rusty hosted by his former boss, Bill. Great food, lots of rain, fun conversations and crazy people!
Monday was Rusty's 35th (hard to believe) birthday.
We spent the day with the movers as they were packing up their house.
I had the "tough" job of holding/playing with Owen.
Then the 5 of us went out for a dinner of Rusty's choosing.

Tuesday was more packing for Rusty and Collette and much much more hugging and kissing and holding of Owen for me.

Collette, Owen and I checked in at the hotel while Rusty and Rick closed up the house.

I was able to hug them all one more time - tell them I love them and wish them luck in their new adventure. A piece of my heart is moving with them to Wisconsin. Rusty, Collette and Owen.. I love you guys!!
